The Quality Assurance Process at METCOM 911 seeks to assist the agency in maintaining superior emergency communications service for its User agencies. Calls are selected on the basis of predetermined incident types for larger scale calls and on a random basis for more routine calls. The Quality Assurance Committees, one for Fire/ EMS and one for Law Enforcement, meet bi-monthly to review the selected calls for compliance with agency standard operating procedures and policies and also to assess the need for policy changes.
